I have a really funny post today but I will not post it because I am almost in tears over what is wrong on this blog.
Please let me know if you can help with any of this.
Google Reader does not show my feed correctly. If you enter www.mommywords.com in as a new subscription it pulls a feed that does not exist. So no one sees my updated posts!
My commentluv is not working when I post comments on other sites. Seems like this would have to do with the screwed up feed as well.
My incoming links is not working in WordPress. While you, my friends, have been showing me some major linky love of late – Google and WordPress have no idea.
I am pretty sure this all has to do with my, excuse my language, f’ed up feed. I cannot find where in my site it is screwy and after hours of looking and posting on help forums I am done for the night.
I will hopefully be up for blog hopping later to some of your awesome sites!
Right now I am going to cuddle with my hubby and try not to bitch to him about bloggy stuff he does not understand.
Grrrrr.

I tried the Google Reader thing the other day and when it didn’t work, I clicked on your RSS link above and put that URL into the Google Reader and it works just fine.

Thanks Candice. My site had the wrong feed embedded into the code somewhere. I think now google reader should work just by entering http://www.mommywords.com. I tried it and it worked. I still have no idea if my friend connect friends will have ti re-follow or what! I will just have to wait and see. At least the feed is fixed now.
I know the feeling, I ask for help from some net friends, and they are real nice to help me, I am from MBC

sometimes people add ‘no follow ‘ tags and google and wordpress do not follow the link…lol!

Shradda I have commentluv I am seeing all of your posts here on my blog. I just do not see mine on others but I am off to see if that is fixed now that my brain finally figured out where that nasty wrong feed was coming from! Thanks so much for the advice!
ok..sorry for commenting so many times…
there is a redirecting feed plugin on wordpress…activate it..and redirect your dead feed to your live feed and things should be ok…

I get all your posts via email. I’ve also subscribed via my google reader and it says “The feed being requested cannot be found.”

I just popped over and now I am following. That was a GORGEOUS wedding. I miss my wedding. Maybe I will renew my vows in some fabulous locale like that…someday!
I had a similar problem the other day I thought my problem was feedburner, so I deleted the feed to start over, stil no fix. I finally figured out at like 2 in the morning that it was one of my plugins, I went one by one deactivating them and finally found the problem. Don’t know if you fixed the problem yet, but if it happens again try the plugins! Good luck, I know it can be so frustrating. A friend of mine told me I should contact my IT department (if it were only that easy)!!
I had some problems with your feed but tried clicking the “RSS” symbol next to your url, and then everything worked out fine.
With incoming links – I have the same problem. Google doesn’t find them, although I know that they are there and where they are. I think we’d be better off with blogger, as this is the Google family.
The other reason: it can take up to months for Google to crawl sites and find a site that has linked to your blog.
