Now there are kids, money is budgeted and they want to know why Mom doesn't know the rules. SOoooooo I'm learning the rules of football by reading a book called "A Sportscaster's Guide to Watching Football" by author Mark Oristano. It's a pretty entertaining and informative book. The photo is priceless too. You guys look like you're having a great time. That's not to say that you can't have fun with kids too. As they grow, it's amazing how much my life is starting to resemble the life I had before kids. We used to fill our weekends with outings, friends, parties, movies, shopping, day trips. What's different now is that we're filling our weekends with things surrounding the kids. Case in point this past weekend: Disneyland Friday, soccer games and parties (end of season) on Saturday, birthday dinner with Pop Pop on Saturday, birthday party on Sunday at a cool indoor playground. When bedtime comes, no struggling, getting water, or jumping up over and over. They're just as exhausted as we are.
