Thank You, Thank You and Good Night

Before I go and have this baby and get so far behind you won’t be able to see me, I need to spend a moment bragging thanking two of my fabulous readers and friends for some awesome awards!

Maggie darling – a.k.a. Magda at I’m Just Sayin’ gave me the Circle of Friends Award and I’m just saying I am shocked and so excited.  She is SUCH a better bloggy friend than I have been and I just want to hug her to death and when I see her I will.  Watch out Maggie.  I give fierce hugs to my friends.  She also sent me a picture of her in a bathing suit pregnant and I sent one back which I am thinking in mommy blogger world has to be like being blood sisters or something.  So THANK YOU MAGGIE!

So this award is great because a circle of friends is what blogging is all about!  I am supposed to share five things I like and then pass the award on.

Here Goes:

1.  Crushed Ice – I down at least 10 huge cups a day.  Hospital ice is the best.  Here I come Labor & Delivery.

2.  Power Tools – Hands down my favorite thing to buy (next to very expensive Temperley clothes which I cannot afford).  Building things is by far one of my favorite ways to spend my time.

3.  Alice Temperley Clothes - Sexy.  Gorgeous.  Chic.  All these things I want to be.  Seriously – beautiful clothes!

4.  Musical Theater – Singing the songs whether on stage or in the shower or in my car, is one of my favorite things to do.

5.  Relaxing with my hubby – It so rarely happens with the ages of our kids and his work and my projects and this pregnancy.  We sat on the couch for an hour today while the kids played in the back room and I was in heaven!

I am passing this award on to some fab ladies who are great bloggy friends.  They read my posts, they comment, they give support and I love ‘em for it!

Kristi at The Brouse House awarded me the Beautiful Blogger Award.  Clearly I did not send her the pictures of a very pregnant me in a bathing suit ’cause it ain’t beautiful!  I am so flattered Kristi – Thank You!  She said she understood  if being pregnant and all, I did not have time to repost the award.  Um…hello..sweetheart…you called me beautiful – this baby is SO getting posted!  Just the award itself is so pretty!

One is supposed to accept the award and then reveal 7 things about yourself.  Here is where I get lazy.  I have been having contractions all day and I am losing focus so please forgive me.

6.  I devour romance novels.  This is in addition to a couple of “real” books every week ( I read A LOT) but  always have a good steamy novel for the bath.    It must be a historical romance and oftentimes there is a very sassy picture on the cover.  It takes me approximately 3 hours to read one and I gotta say – thems a good 3 hours.

7.  I think of myself as all indpendent and feminist and all but my husband told me the other day that he liked my hair long and guess what?  I am SO growing it out.  Hey man – I want him to think I am super sexy!

Here is the 2nd part of my laziness / inability to be a beautiful blogger at all tonight.  I am too uncomfortable right now to type much more with these contractions so I am not going to pass this award on tonight.  I just can’t find a comfortable place for the computer at the same time as my belly.  I need one of those hospital beds that are all adjustable!
