I know, I know. Wickedly late. I’ve been straggling on my Five for Ten duties (let’s just say it was a wee bit bigger than anticipated!) but I’m here. And so so so glad I came.

This post is fantastic. Lingerie? Um, no. And I don’t even have any babes in my bed, or room, anymore. But reading all your words–especially about nursing–brought all those memories back. And although they make me happy that my lustful moments are more readily available now, they do make me lustful for a baby again. Sigh.

I thought you were going truly racy too… and then I was plunged into memory (from the dad side of things), of going through what I like to call the “chopped liver” stage of fatherhood.

Still, if you guys are three under three, you really did “go there” in the margins between pumping and diaper changing.

Now that my kids are up in their teens (new levels of challenge), I can hardly believe how long those early years felt. As they say, the days take forever and the years fly by.

Nice to meet you in this five-for-ten world.

My body decided not to produce milk, so my boobs were never really off limits — except for the first three weeks when I was constantly football-holding my baby hoping that *something* would give. I do remember that acute lust for sleep, though. Getting it was orgasmic.

Ah, I remember the post partum days where I had to talk myself into lovin’ my man on the few occasions that we had the opportunity… and how it was more of a turn on/return of the favor when he gave me a back rub than some actual “lovin’” too. I have no idea how you do it with 3, and I am not looking forward to trying when I have my 2nd this fall… so I totally hear you there!

My heart was racing there, I thought you were really going for it!

I know just how you feel…still nursing a 15 month old. Boobies are no go zone until that’s done. I can’t handle the one being so closely associated with the other. Hopefully we’ll be done soon and can get back to being women!!
