Our kids’ bathtub is now officially full as sweet Baby V joined Sophia and Miles for her first big girl bath. I would say it was a huge success. Usually she creams for every minute of being in the water in that baby tub. Lately I felt so bad I have just had Ross hand her to me in the shower. This is actually very easy and a great time saver! However, she was ready for the bath seat and the kids have been begging to get her in on the bath time fun so I acquiesced. As you can see, while there were no tears – she looks a little nervous and unsure of this new adventure. I repeat – NO TEARS – this is an improvement! I call this success and can’t believe all my kids are now close to being able to play together! Time is flying by! First a bath – then Kindergarten – then college. Cue Tears.

Violet is certainly not starving herself these days and is one chubby and happy little camper as soon as baths are over. Just so you can see that I did not traumatize my baby, note her smiling.

Stay tuned for her next exciting milestone. I believe she is almost ready to sit up on her own. Crazy, I know. You just can’t wait! I love that being a mommy blogger I am actually cool with posting this stuff and thinking people might read it. Everybody loves chubby babies right?

Love it! How cute. Mine share tub time, too, at least for now. Milo’s just turned 5 and Violet is almost 3, so I think we’re approaching the end of co-ed baths.

The seat keeps her in the right place and the water is high because Sophia and Miles have a death wish and keep turning it on. Ugh. I just wanted one picture and the one I posted was the best one because I had to keep turning the water off!
I love to watch the babies grow! I hope God will bless us with a new addition before too long. It doesn’t seem like she should be sitting up. Heck it seems like two days ago you had her and then the next you were off to some HUGE vacation after popping her out…I mean seriously.
Wonderful milestones to record and thank God for our blogs to record them.

She’s not really sitting up – it’s the chair. Soon I hope! And I too hope you will soon have another. Then I can live the newborn life vicariously through you. I SO want another baby but hubs says no

We do showers with the boy, so much easier and that way when I am home alone w/o Daddy I can get my own cat bath in as I shower him!

I have that same bath seat. I used it for my first two kids and will be using it soon for my almost 7 month old. Your baby girl is every bit as chubby as my little Hannah. Too cute.

My sister bathes her two kids together and her daughter sits in one of those bath seats, too. She bought it when she gave us the baby bathtub for Nate, aww. Her kids LOVE to bathe together (TJ is 2 yrs old and Brooke is 8 mths). I think it’s so adorable.

Bathing the kids together rocks but I will warn you the water on the floor is unreal. I try to control it but have next to NO luck!
Awwwwwwww. Man. She’s SOOO sweet. Reading all these mommy blogs with the adorable babies makes me think … baby thoughts. My giant boy is 13 now. No more cuddles!

She’s so chubby, I LOVE IT!!! And I also love her name. Curious to know the bath seat that she’s sitting in? Looks very functional. I will often take my baby in the shower with me, but she’s not a fan. Great site! Subscribed
