I am so excited to share my Diaper Drive results with you! During my 12 Days of Diapers Drive as a Huggies Every Little Bottom Ambassador I was able to raise almost 5,000 diapers! I can’t tell you how wonderful it felt to see such generosity and to arrive at The Summit House here in Charlotte with a minivan full of diapers!
Here I am…very excited…
Here are some shots of all those diapers shoved everywhere in my van and of course, Sophia, my helper. That’s me and Gwen Cohen, the director.

Sophia helped me and some of the ladies from the house carry in the diapers. They could not believe how many we were able to provide!
Diapers are one of the first things that most shelters need and one of the last things people think to donate. I am so glad I have found such a simple way to give back.
Gwen Cohen, the site director at the Summit House, talks about the home and gives a big Thank You!
I would love it (and all those little bums would love it even more) if you would consider hosting a diaper drive in your own community. I used my list of email contacts and an annoucnement at my pre-school and look how much I was able to donate! For tips on hosting a diaper drive you can check out all the awesome tips on the Huggies site here. Please let me know if you decide to host one!

That is such a great idea! I know that when donations are called for harsh weather victims, I always try to give diapers and jammies for the babies. But doing a diaper drive is an awesome idea. Hmmm…I’ll have to think on that one and check out our area. Thanks!

Wow! That’s awesome you were able to collect so many diapers. I remember now that when I donated diapers Molly had outgrown how appreciative the staff at the women’s shelter were – I should have thought more about that at the time. I hate that I wasn’t able to get it together to donate this particular time, but hopefully next time, or who knows? Maybe I’ll start my own diaper drive.
