iGo Charge Anywhere {Review & Giveaway}

Post image for iGo Charge Anywhere {Review & Giveaway}

It seems like we have Blackberries and iPods and flips and gps stuff everywhere. When we get ready to hop in the car, we have a bag that is full of all the chargers and we hope that we don’t forget the one we really need and that the 2 charger things in the car will be enough. On a long car trip, I can assure you they are not enough. On a full day out with the family or for hubs a full day of work, our lovely devices start to lose their juice in the afternoon if not sooner.

Enter the iGo Charge Anywhere.  It’s small, full of power and can charge 2 devices simultaneously either plugged into the wall or anywhere you are with it’s stored power.  Check it out.  It is smaller than my iPod and my blackberry and can charge both of them at once.  Guess what…you can win one here!

iGo Charge Anywhere

With the iGo Charge Anywhere I can stop worrying about my phone dying or my gps failing and leaving me stranded.  I can also be assured that I will always have my music despite my iPod’s terrible battery.  This little charger has me hooked!

The iGo works plugged in or unplugged.  No outlet – no problem.  When it is plugged in the iGo will charge its own internal battery as well as your devices.  When no outlet is available it will charge your devices with its battery.  It is so simple.

What I love…

You will no longer have to carry 10 separate chargers on every outing.  I bring my standard USB cord to charge my phone and the iGo USB cord with the matching tip for whatever else I need.  In the picture above you can see the iPod tip (white) attached to the iGo cord and charging my music maker.  They have tips for everything from phones and gps units to gaming devices and digital cameras.  So, instead of packing up a million wall chargers – you only need to bring your iGo and the right tips and you are all set.  Simply charge your iGo by plugging in the fold away outlet blades and then throw it and your tips in your bag and go!

Got a new device?  Don’t spend the money on a brand new charger.  Just buy your new tip and you are set.

Got kids?  They drain batteries fast.  The iGo can keep them all happy and leave those car chargers free for the DVD player (in my case) and my laptop.  If they kill your phone will using your apps you can recharge anywhere.

I said it already, but it is small.  And light.  This baby weighs 3.8 ounces and fits in my little coin purse so I can throw it in any bag.

Overall this is a great new device from a company that is committed to going green with our electronics.  iGo Inc. has a whole line of products that reduce standby (vampire) power by up to 85%.  That is totally cool.

I would highly recommend the iGo Charge Anywhere.   It retails for $39.99 and comes with the iGo 6 foot USB cord and 1 free tip.  The USB cord comes with a little attachment that holds 2 tips.  You can see mine in the photo.  You can purchase most additional tips for less than $10.  Get this – you can get 20% off your purchase at www.iGo.com using the code iGoblogger.  Now isn’t that sweet? Or…

I follow you on GFC and could totally use this charger. I go to work a different place or several different places every day. I keep all my job info in my phone. On occasion my phone will run out of juice and wouldn’t you know it, I’ll have brought the “wrong” charger. Leaving me with the unenviable quest of trying to find a pay phone in this day and age. This would be such a lifesaver.

I am following you on Google Friend Connect. This sounds like such a great product, I’ve never heard of it but it seems worth having. Just last week, my family was going to a birthday party pretty far away from town. We’ve never been to the house but no worries since we have the GPS, right? Wrong, because the GPS died and we had to go all the way back to Mapquest the address! Haha, having this mini charger would’ve definitely helped!

Plus…it would be great for our summer trips to both of their traveling softball/baseball games…hanging at the hotel, charging toys…what a great tool!

I was alone in the middle of no where and car was stuck, it was dark and it was really cold I had no cell phone
so oldest daughter got me a cell phone
ok so a few months later we are on a adventure she wanted to get some pictures for school(college) so we go on this wilderness hike, I leave my cell phone in car because I knew she had hers
Well needless to say after 6 miles we thought we were lost so wanted to call my younger teens to see how far it was back to the main gate since they run the same path weekly for cross country
My daughters phone was dead so I sure could have used a igo then

Thank you so very much for giving me a chance to be a winner
Thank you for all your time, effort and hard work
